Where it started

The Rockin P, Kansas

My family were multi-generational landowners outside El Dorado, Kansas. My dad believed in work and made sure we found plenty of it: his office, the yard, the house, and the ranch. The Rockin P was just the version with cattle in it. I hauled hay through the summers, helped my sister show cattle and pigs in 4H, and counted down to the county fair every year. About seventy head at its peak, and a normal part of growing up.

University of Kansas

Bachelor of Science in Marketing at KU. I also founded and ran the campus Scuba Club. I'd led plenty of teams by then, but it was the first thing I built from nothing. Rock Chalk.

2012

ADP, selling the hard thing

I started my sales career at ADP, self-sourcing and closing over 200 net-new logos one small-business owner at a time. The product nobody wanted to sell was the time clock and the software that ran it. Hardware plus software, rare deals, no playbook. I learned the ROI cold, became the top time clock rep in the country, and started fielding calls from reps in other regions who wanted help closing their own.

Putting down roots

Denver, and a family

Relocated to Denver with ADP, then put down roots and started a family. The work didn't change. The reason behind it did.

2017

Oracle NetSuite, top of the board

Joined NetSuite selling to mid-market and corporate accounts. Two-time MVP, three straight President's Club years, and a habit of landing between 150 and 200 percent of quota.

2022

Regional Sales Director

Moved into leadership, running a team across roughly $80M in accounts and owning both new business and the expansion that follows. Took sub-75 percent reps to President's Club, promoted three of them into management, built a top 10% team in new sales and the number-one team in renewal rate across Account Management.

Recently

I started building

Somewhere along the way I taught myself to ship software. AI sales tools, a couple of apps in production, an App Store launch, and an agentic assistant I built and handed to my fellow Regional Directors. Results over credentials.

2026  •  Now

Applying to Halter

Which brings me here. Halter makes the ranching life I grew up around more productive, and hands families back their time. It's a hardware-and-software product sold to people who need to see the numbers before they'll trust it. That's the exact thing I spent a career learning to do, and it started on the Rockin P. I'd like to lead it in the West.
